The Guinness book of world record officially declared Sultan Kosen a Turkey resident suffering from a tumor in his pituitary gland the world's tallest man.
At a height of 8foot 1inch Sultan Kosen can be seen from far but his knee joints had weaken because of his giant height and has to use crutches to move around. The tumour in his pituitary gland has caused the gland to over produce growth hormones and resulted in him becoming the tallest man on planet.
