Virus Powering Cars

Virus-built Battery Could Power Electronic Devices, Cars
Massachusetts Institute of Technology Researchers have shown for the first time that they can genetically engineer viruses to both the negatively and positively charged ends of a lithium-ion battery.
According to Angler Belcher, MIT scientist who lead the research team the new virus produced batteries has the same power performance and energy capacity as rechargeable batteries considered to power plug in hybrid cars.
These virus built batteries could be manufactured with cheap and environment friendly process with no harmful organic solvents and even the material inside battery is non-toxic.
