A team of NASA and university scientists has achieved the first definitive detection of methane in the atmosphere of Mars. This discovery indicates the planet is either biologically or geologically active.
NASA has revealed plumes of methane gas seeping from the surface of the Red Planet. The presence of the gas strongly suggests that living biology exists or has existed. On Earth, 90 per cent of methane is produced by living organisms. And while volcanos do account for some of Earth's methane, no volcanos have been spotted on Mars. One explanation could be the reaction of Martian rocks and water which may release methane in a process called serpentinisation. Scientists will be able to determine traces of life either way when a new Mars rover is launched in 2011.Source www.nasa.gov

Is this true? Well, I think because of over population, the planet MARS could be a good substituting planet for us to live in. Anyway, in relation to SCIENCE - As though European airlines weren't already in a debt survival struggle (and their American counterparts as well) the ash cloud over Europe is not going to help matters much. It was not the result of successive bong malfunctions in Amsterdam, but the Iceland volcano eruption, which has grounded the bulk of European airlines. Volcanic eruptions can send huge volumes of ash and rock into the atmosphere – air travel was severely impeded in Alaska last year in the wake of eruptions of Mt. Redoubt.
YEHEE! HUMANS WILL GO TOMARS TO DISTROY IT! SAME LIKE WHAT WE ARE DOING TO EARTH TODAY! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORKS NASA BOYS!
