According to new study by an international team and University of Adelaide, frogs are eaten so much that they are close to extinction.
Frog legs can be found in high end restaurants all over the world, they are on the menu list at school cafeterias in Europe, market stalls and dinner tables all over Asia.
How much frogs are consumed each year?
Over 1 billion frogs.
Largest exporter of frogs?
Indonesia.
There is a increase of at least 200 million in past 20 years in annual global trade of frogs for human consumption.
